Since Graduating from University of Wales, Cardiff in 1998, I have gained practical and technical experience as both a geologist and mine planning engineer.  I have completed Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve estimations, geological modelling, mine design, optimisation and scheduling on base metal, industrial minerals and gold deposits across Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Australia.

I am a Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council in the United Kingdom, a Fellow of the Geological Society of London, Member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining and a Fellow and Chartered Professional Geologist of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.  With in-depth knowledge of and the ability to sign-off Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves as a Competent Person/Qualified Person (CP/QP) under international standards such as JORC and NI 43-101.
 

I am an advanced user of Datamine Software products including Studio RM, Studio OP, Studio NPV Scheduler, Ore Controller, Mineable Shape Optimiser and EPS and competent in other mining software such as Geovia Whittle and MineSched, and Deswik.
